Who do I call for Transportation Change?

Call Pearsontown at 919-560-3964 to update transportation.  Please do so before 11am.  Email Ms. Torian or Ms. Holeman, contact us through Talking Points.

Does my child need a water bottle?

Yes, it is strongly recommended that your child has a water bottle for schoool.

What time does your child have to be here? What time does school close?

Students can start arriving to school at 7:15- 7:45.  After 7:45, please walk your child into the office to pick up a tardy slip.

School dismisses at 2:15, if you wish for your child to leave earlier than 2:15, please arrive before 1:30.  

Do you have an amazon wish list?

Are birthday parties allowed?

Yes, birthday parties are allowed.  Unfortunately, parents can not come into the building to help celebrate, but are allowed to bring in special treats.  Please keep in mind of children in the classroom that may have allergies.  

Are students allowed to keep their asthma pump with them?

Unfortunately No, all medication must be kept in the office.

Do I have to pay for lunch?

No, Lunch is free for all students.

Does my child need snack?

Yes, we eat snack at 1:00, please send in  an extra snack.

When is the first intercession?

The first intercession begins on September 17 as an early release day at 12:15, and goes until October 7, 2024.

What time is Early Dismissal on Early Dismissal Days

Early Dismissal times is at 12:15.

How many field trips will we take this school- year?

The Kindergartners will go on two field trips, one during the Fall, and another one before schools lets out.

What do you use to communicate to parents?

Our class will use Talking Points.  If you do not know your parent code, please reach out to me or Ms. Torian, or Ms. Holeman

Will we have homework?

Yes, Spelling homework and Math homework will be given.

 

How do I pay for Field Trips?

Payments can be made through link sent home.  Online payments only

No Cash or check can be sent in.

Can I bring in food items made at home?

Store-bought items only, no homemade goods allowed.
